We discovered a lovely husband and wife jewelry making team in Manila that creates wonderful, organic designed jewelry. When we visited them we were immediately captivated by these earrings, we first saw the green chalcedony and then just sucked in with the antique African trading beads.
They only made two pairs of these earrings - which you see here. Each pair is handmade; the figure "8" consists brass with either the chalcedony or the African bead added for color and interest.
