She found it in two words from two different worlds:

Sundara – A Sanskrit word meaning beautiful person.
Joon – A Persian term of endearment meaning dear.

The inspiration for Joon came from the first person she met and became fast friends with during her undergraduate years—a warm, fast bond that carried deep meaning.

Put together, Sundara Joon translates to “Beautiful Dear.” It’s a name that speaks to the value of connection, the beauty in people, and the joy of cherishing relationships—whether they’re across the street or across the globe.
