NOTE: Due to the nature of the wood, the designs vary by each piece, some are solidly dark in color where others have the variations of browns that add to their unique charm. All four spoons that we obtained are dark brown in color with subtler variations in patterns present.

NOTE: Both the lighter and darker wood is ebony. The lighter colored wood is taken from the roots while the darker color wood is taken from the branches.
To care for ebony wood, start by keeping it away from direct sunlight and excessive moisture. Clean it was a soft cloth and periodically apply a wood oil to help it maintain its own oils and preserve its finish. Due to its natural moisture resistance, ebony can withstand some humidity but should not be submerged in water.
